Follow Ataelier Haute Complication, a new breakthrough independent watchmaking studio founded in 2018 by Vladimir Victor Négault, a disciple of François-Paul Journe for 14 years.
In 1994, Vladimir, an architect and 3D modeler, met François-Paul Journe, who asked him to make a model 3D model of a Cartier bracelet. Turning to 2004, François-Paul Journe asked to join him, developing animations in 2D and 3D, explaining how complex and motion works. For 14 years he will work in research and development for F.P. Journe, who has been learning watchmaking on the side. In 2018, Vladimir Victor NEGAULT decided to launch his own brand as an independent watchmaker and conceptual designer. Over the course of 4 years, he designed an original collection of 5 different movements based on very new complications. In 2022, ATAELIER HAUTE COMPLICATION's "Dual Time" will be launched as the brand's first release.
The brand will also launch another 4 works in the series of complex functions:
- Tourbillon with original chime system, "past half-hour reminder", including innovative and compact hammer and lever design
- Perpetual calendar with permanent weekly "business" calendar (a world first)
- Chime "Pendule de Paris" chronometer (world's first)
- A totally revolutionary concept of the Grande Sonnerie
