JUNGE Uhrmacher GbR, an independent watchmaking brand established in 2021 by Josef Bresan and Lukas Pöhlmann, is proud to present its newest creation: the JUNGE Prestige. The watch, available in two limited-edition color variations (night gray and night blue), features a hand-wound JU26-01 calibre with a 39-hour power reserve, central second, and second hacking.
Josef Bresan and Lukas Pöhlmann both have extensive experience in the field of watchmaking. Josef Bresan completed an apprenticeship as a watchmaker at Wempe Glashütte and went on to work at Wempe and Lang & Heyne before studying mechanical engineering. Lukas Pöhlmann also completed an apprenticeship as a watchmaker at Lang & Heyne Dresden and worked there before joining JUNGE Uhrmacher.
The JUNGE Prestige features a stainless steel case with a polished bezel, back, and lugs and a satin-finished sides, making it both stylish and functional with a 5-bar water resistance. The crown is also made of stainless steel with an engraved logo and a satin finish, while the sapphire crystals (front slightly curved and back flat) provide excellent visibility. The hands are hand-polished steel and the dial, made in-house, has a aluminum base with 13 polished indexes and a special color-coating.
The movement, Cal. JU26-01, is handwound and all parts are finished by hand to the highest quality standards. The strap is calf in black and the buckle is a polished stainless steel with satin-finished sides. The JUNGE Prestige retails for 169,800 HKD before taxes and each color version is limited to 24 pieces.
