Mathieu Cleguer's inaugural piece Inspiration One pays tribute to the quest for chronometer by being equipped with a novel escapement: the Innate Escapement is a self-starting twist on the Natural Escapement
Elegant and ergonomic 38.5mm case, designed for clarity and precision, it features an expansive, open construction that selectively reveals key elements, such as the proprie- tary innate escapement, an oversized 12.9mm balance wheel and the 36 hours power reserve indicator. Time is being displayed on descended Champlevé Grand Feu enamel subdial while the elongated central seconds hand is swiping above adding to the visual intrigue
At reverse, the focus is put on the gear train, ratchet click system and Maltese Cross stopwork. Those elements are accentuated by the Frosted Bridge and Geneva stripe mainplate
The souscription watch will be made in Titanium and its main features are:
-Hours, Minutes, central Seconds
-”Grand Feu” enamel dial decentered
-36 Hour power reserve displayed with a stop work mechanism on top of the ratchet -Oversized 13mm balance wheel beating at 18’000vph with an inertia >50mg. cm2 -”Innate escapement” which is a self-starting indirect natural escapement -Mainplate and bridge in raw German silver and rhodier
-Titanium Case 38.5mmx12.0mm, lugs to lugs 48.2mm, strap width 19mm -Limited to 12 pieces
