Atelier Mephalie

Atelier Mephalie is the revival of Mephalie, a Chinese name founded in 1876 by Sun Tingyuanand awarded a gold medal at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. The name was revived by Lin Xiaolin, who entered the watch industry in 2011 and now serves as the brand's principal.

Based in China, the atelier brings together experienced watchmakers and specialists in movement design and precision machining, with the equipment to develop and produce its own calibers. Its work is organized into three collections: Mei, for form and finishing; Hua, for traditional Chinese crafts; and Li, for complications. The in-house minute repeater is its first caliber, and the foundation for what comes next.
