Kallinich Claeys EINSER Central Seconds “Founders Edition”

Kallinich Claeys is a new German traditional watchmaking brand established in July 2022 by Johannes Kallinich and Thibault Claeys. Both watchmakers have a three-year education in their respective field, with Johannes trained in Glashütte and Thibault in Antwerp, Belgium. Johannes has been in the watchmaking industry since 2013 and became the head of the "Lange 1" department before becoming a Master Watchmaker in 2021. Thibault works in the "1815" department at A. Lange & Söhne.

Kallinich Claeys is proud to announce the release of their EINSER Central Seconds timepiece, designed, developed, and built entirely in-house. The brand values freedom and flexibility in creating new designs of the highest quality. 

We decided to do this because we are just starting out prototyping, adjusting and producing our parts. Currently we are building 2 prototypes which will hopefully soon travel around the world to showcase our craftmanship.
There will be a limited edition of 8 watches in the already limited production of 30 watches.

These 8 watches will be called “Founders Edition”, which we developed for you to be a part of our history. With these 8 watches you will support us in developing our company and make our dream come true of becoming fully independent watchmakers.
Instead of a guilloché dial there will be a hand engraved design, along with an extra print on the enamel. For these 8 watches we ask a prepayment of 100%.
By owning a “Founders Edition” you not only show your support to independent watchmaking, you also have a chance of owning one of the very first watches we will produce.

The EINSER Central Seconds features a 41mm stainless steel case with a height of 11mm and lug to lug of 45.2mm. The crystals are double AR coated sapphire glass and the movement is Kaliber KC001.1. The dial has a hammered outer ring with minuterie and Roman numerals, while the hands are finished by hand with polished chamfers and straight graining.

The Kaliber KC001.1 movement has a diameter of 36.6mm, height of 5.9mm and is made from German silver, stainless steel, steel, and yellow gold. It has 33 rubies and 145 parts, a frequency of 18000 bph, and a power reserve of 45 hours. The decorations include black polish, circumferential graining, circular graining, sandblasted surfaces, polished chamfers with sharp inner angles, polished countersink, straight graining, and blued screws. The movement functions include stop seconds, power reserve indication, and central seconds.
