Here, gold wire traces the head and flowing mane of a horse, following a design painted by Atelier Mephalie. Enamel in amber and chestnut tones is then laid into the cells inlayers and fired repeatedly, building the depth of color that sets the horse against a black ground.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eA slender hand-polished handset keeps the time display legible without obscuring Xiong's enamel work.The hands are polished by hand and kept slim, leaving the dial to the enamel. No two dials come out of the kiln exactly alike. The horse is the standard design, and collectors can commission other motifs at additional cost.
